Visit Eldorado Canyon State Park for hiking and rock climbing!
Stroll Boulder’s historic four-block, brick‑paved pedestrian mall lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants! If you’re like Lance (and now Hailey, thanks to Lance) and love getting out on the water, Boulder is great for fly fishing. Favorite local spots include Boulder Creek and Brainard Lake Recreation Area (where Hailey caught her first fish - pictured!), plus nearby streams of the Boulder Valley and the South Platte River for varied habitats and good hatches. Don’t forget a valid Colorado fishing license and check current regulations before you go.
If you know us, you know we love live music. In town, you can catch a show at the Boulder Theater or the Fox Theatre. And if you’re up for a short drive, Colorado’s most iconic venue - and one of our personal favorites - Red Rocks Amphitheatre is just about 40 minutes from Boulder.
Breweries are a staple in our relationship - explore Boulder’s many craft breweries, including one of Lance’s favorites, Avery Brewing Company.
Although Hailey would strongly disapprove as a proud CSU alum - Go Rams! - (with one notable exception of running the Bolder Boulder, as pictured), the University of Colorado’s campus is located in Boulder… if you’re willing to risk your wedding invite by setting foot on the Buffs’ turf.
If you are a big tea person, look no further! You can tour Celestial Seasonings’ tea factory right in Boulder.
